2021 Marechal Foch

Marechal Foch was created in France in 1900 as a hybrid of 3 grape varietals, Goldriesling from Europe, and Vitis Riparia & Vitis Rupestris from North America.  This deep red grape from our 70+ year old vines carries a rich flavour akin to ripened black cherry.  The aromas of cranberry and blackberry are mixed with hints of fennel and sage and are very noticeable on the nose.  It carries a fair amount of body on the palate with favours of cherry and red berries.  This wine was fermented in stainless steel.  Enjoy Marechal Foch either at room temperature or chilled.
