2022 Cabernet Merlot

63% Merlot, 32% Cabernet Franc & 5% Cabernet Sauvignon.  The Merlot and Cab Sauvignon are barrel aged for 18 months in French oak and blended with the Cab Franc which was fermented in stainless steel.  Aromas of dried sage, sweet bell peppers and red licorice along with flavours of paprika, blackberries and hints of cedar and cinnamon.  Pairs well with braised lamb shanks with rosemary, lasagna or pepperoni pizza.
